ManorCare homes' deficiencies make it a federal "focus"

Manor Care Rossville in Baltimore was recently added to the federal list of Special Focus Facilities.  According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the nursing homes on this list have been faulted for more patient care deficiencies than other nursing homes, have had more “serious” problems than other homes, and have had a pattern of serious problems over several years.

The campaign is calling on Carlyle to fix the problems at Rossville immediately, invest in front-line caregicing, and work with residents and caregivers in all ManorCare homes to make ManorCare a better place to live and work.
